As a kid I used to play a lot of card games, most of the time I played a game we called jokeren and I was pretty good at it.

A few weeks ago I came upon a site where you can play online card games called Rummy, and I was very pleasantly surprised when I found out that one of the games you could play at that site, Kalooki, a form of rummy, was almost exactly the game I used to play as a kid.

FullTiltPoker has a fantastic freeroll series that gives all poker players an opportunity to qualify for the World Series of Poker Main Event.

It’s part of FullTiltPoker’s Race to the Main Event promotion.  These are set up as daily freerolls with Round 1 & Round 2 SNG’s running daily.

I’ve been playing in them for about a week and last night I WON a Round 1 qualifying me to play in today’s Round 2 at 1:40.  WISH ME LUCK!!

One thing I’ve found playing in these freerolls is that you get a lot of “All-in All The Time” donks right from the start.  I guess they figure “What the heck, it’s FREE”.

We all know that a three-bet is supposed to mean strength. When a player three-bets before the flop, he’s saying that he believes he has the best hand. One of the keys to making money at the poker table, however, is being able to interpret when the three-bet means what it’s supposed to mean, and when a player is only representing a big hand and making a move.
